The ideal city.

If you want to visit la Scarzuola make sure you are in the right mood because to enter Marco’s domain and home he has to like you otherwise there is nothing you can do or say to coerce him into unlocking the gate! It’s worth the risk though and we were lucky because he liked us and made us feel really comfortable. He was patient and helpful and very cooperative. Marco seems to live in another dimension, a different world which is really fascinating to get to know and try to understand. Visiting la Scarzuola is not only discovering a magical place but it’s opening our minds to something obscure and unusual. Sometimes it’s good to think out of the box and see reality from another perspective!
