Every time I went to Naples, I was captured by this shop window displaying a multitude of colorful umbrellas.  Intriguing designs and original shapes as well as classy and old fashion umbrellas…then I meet Mario Talarico, a young, funny and welcoming character who I never would have imagined would have been the owner of the shop. Of course, he followed in his grandfather’s footsteps but he brought innovation to the family trade. He grew up in the workshop watching his grandfather at work. His dream was to become a cartoonist but then he felt the responsibility to keep his family tradition alive and little by little the passion for making umbrellas grew on him…now he is so fast and confident in every step of the process that it’s a real pleasure to watch him at work…difficult to choose which one to buy!
